Bombtrack just released their so called “Bilderbuch” aka the 2017 product range. Great detailed pictures and more great bikes, especially the adventure and cross/gravel bikes.

]]>Worth to think about it.
“I run up a trail that climbs a steep ridge, through sage and piñon, ponderosas and aspen. About two miles in, the forested slope gives way to a small meadow, where thigh-high grass is sprinkled with lupine, penstemon and flax. I should stop and take an Instagram photo to share on Facebook and Twitter, just to make my friends and computer-bound colleagues jealous.
But I won’t, because the Strava app on my phone is recording my location, my speed and, perhaps most importantly, my performance compared to that of others who use this social network for athletes. Stopping will sabotage my effort. If I only had a GoPro camera strapped to my chest, I could capture the image of the wildflowers and keep the data flowing to the app.”

]]>You can’t be too old to cross the French alps with a Fixed Gear bike. Thierry Saint-Léger, 57 years old, did it in June, which you can see in the video:
]]>Mash SF produced nearly the first professional Fixed Gear movie back in 2007. It was (and still is) a blast and the best FG movie so far. Over the years these guys were still active and improved their skills in different kind of riding, from fun to pro level.
Now they will be releasing a new movie and the trailer looks quite impressive:
]]>“After the success of the first Super Cross München in September 2014, and adding to a global calendar of 2015 events, the Rapha Super Cross series extends its presence in Germany with a two-day Super Cross festival.
Returning to the Olympiapark München, home to the historic track that staged the 1985 and 1997 UCI Cyclocross World Championships, this year’s event takes place on 24th and 25th October and will host more racing, more skills clinics and more activities for racers and spectators to get involved in.
As well as elite races, there will also be amateur and kids racing on offer. Riders can expect foam-wall obstacles, mud pits, the infamous shortcut and much, much more.
For all non-racers, there will be the opportunity to join a social Rapha Cross Ride, take part in a Cross Workshop and enjoy the great atmosphere in the large expo area and the beer tent alongside the course.
Staged in collaboration with one of the oldest cycling clubs in the city, RC “Die Schwalben” 1894 München, the Rapha Super Cross in the Olympic Park will mark a unique festival and a highlight in the Cross calendar.
Saturday and Sunday, 24-25th October 2015

]]>Save the legend in German trackbike culture!
“Last week our landlord informed us, that he will increase the rent by 30% and will try to sell the storefront. This will lead to the end of Keirin Berlin. We don’t have rich parents, nor do we have lots of cash on Swiss bank-accounts. Moving is not really an option, as Berlin gets sold to investors and it’s only a matter of time till not only Kreuzberg is the new Brooklyn… When we moved here in 2004, they begged us to take this place and gave us a 50% reduce on the rent. Please share this! And if you have any ideas let us know! We will be working on some projects to not only save the trackbike but to keep the first ever cycle culture cafe going and #savekeirinberlin as this is not America. Gentrification sucks not only on #gentrificationtuesdays Please won’t let Leonard Cohen’s prediction “First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin…” happen and ride your bike everyday, because cycling not only unites… Updates on our Instagram and soon things that make you go hmmmmm….”
